A Prints Inspiration Mood Board – Bandanas & Roses.
Back in the days while going skateboarding a backpack used to be necessary for me. Besides hats they were probably the most important accessory, and also practical. Later I got more into different kind of bags and tote bags – but during the past year I have mainly worn backpacks again. Currently I am looking for a large black backpack with subtle street/punk aesthetics.
I am big fan of room scents and I feel that the best physical shopping experiences always include a specific unique scent. I got fully into scents when I studied in Japan – All Japanese flagship stores have their own scents that you can easily associate with the actual brand/store. These are my current favorites.
L’AIR DE COLETTE – The scent of the store itself. A harmonious blend of fig tree leaves, cedarwood, musk, jasmine, lily and assorted notes from the South.
Diptyque – Figuier – The warmth of fig wood, the freshness of its leaves and the milky sap. A companion to the Philosykos eau de toilette. The candles are remarkable for the quality as well as the scent: the wax is custom blended from natural vegetable ingredients and paraffin to provide the perfect base for the heady aroma of figs.
Nag Champa Incense – The incense of Supreme Stores – The scent is derived primarily from the Champaca flower, (Magnolia Champaca tree), Halmaddi (Ailanthus Malabarica tree) and Sandalwood, along with other resins and herbs.

I used to be a frequent reader of WAD Magazine some years ago, but then I got frustrated that there were so many bad brands featured. Now when I was traveling back from Paris I ended up buying the newest WAD as there were no other good options. I can only say that I was extremely positively surprised – The magazine featured interesting upcoming brands, designer introductions & interesting editorials. Here are some of my favorites from the mag.
